I hope all is well with everyone.

 

Thank you very much for sharing a few moments of your time with me. It’s greatly appreciated.

 

So, I’ve been asked, “Is Team MacGreen, just another bunch of companies looking to jump on the Social Consciousness Bandwagon?”

 

My Answer: Absolutely and unequivocally not!This is where we make a severe and abrupt turn and “Diverge, Deflect, and Divert” from being “Just another of anything.”

 

Please let me explain.

 

All legitimate and earnest charitable, environmental, philanthropic or humanitarian organizations or endeavors, address the basic-necessities-of-life in one way or another:

  • Safe and comfortable living accommodations.
  • Clean environments in their “personal space” and in their immediate communal outdoor space.
  • Healthy food.
  • Clean drinking and bathing water.
  • Secure and unfettered access to clean and weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Charitable, environmental, philanthropic and humanitarian organizations or endeavors raise money to provide these basic necessities to people-in-need.

The Team MacGreen 5-Member Multi-Organizational Consortium is fine-tuned to not only raise money to help support people in obtaining the above basic-necessities of-life but, over time and witnessing the life challenges people face, it became evident that as much good as we were going to accomplish on the Humanitarian and Philanthropic side of life, we would only be addressing half of the social reality that existed for so many people.

 

After broaching this subject, we spent much time on research and exploring. It all came together and organically morphed into a significant discernment moment that, this was now undeniably not, “an either/or,” option for us!”

 

We came toblazingly” realize and, deeply comprehend. . . that to truly provide broad and all-encompassing support, comfort and safety in the immediate physical surroundings of people-in-need, it would also be essential that we seriously strive to protect the physical environment that’s “just around the corner” and, way, way beyond, those “just around the corner” borders and boundaries as well.

 

We came to this realization through the gradual & organic development of an Ambitious, Farseeing, Audacious and

Adventurous Forecasting Process that firmly embraced the notions that Words Do Matter, Tone Does Matter, Actions

Have Consequences, Good Actions=Good Reactions and Bad Actions=Bad Reactions. 

 

This is how and why, we got to the point-in-time, where we were able to

Conprestoration Action Plan Strategy (C.A.P.S) Defined:

 

Conservation Defined: Planned management of a natural resource to prevent exploitation, destruction, or neglect.

Preservation Defined: The activity or process of keeping something valued alive, intact, or free from damage or decay.

Restoration Defined: Ecology is the scientific study supporting the practice of ecological restoration, which is the practice of renewing and restoring degraded, damaged, or destroyed ecosystems and habitats in the environment by active human intervention and action.

 

Both the terms, Conservation and Preservation, involve a degree of protection, but how that protection is carried out is the key difference. “It takes a village to raise a child” is an African proverb that means that an entire community of people must interact with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. The villagers lookout for the children.

Thirty years ago, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) recognized children as their own beings entitled to non-negotiable human rights. The CRC, signed on 20 November 1989, explains who children are, all their rights, and the responsibilities of governments regarding their protection and nurturing. All the rights are connected; they are all equally important and they cannot be taken away from children. It’s an extensive Global Human Rights Treaty which sets out the civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights of children all over the world. Here’s the gist of it:

1-Children need to be treated with dignity and respect.

2-Children should be cared for and allowed to develop and be

part of their communities.

3-Children have a right to an education, to express their own opinions,

and to participate in decisions that concern them.
